2. Stagger cutting method, thread turning tools are staggered in the direction parallel to the left and right side of the tooth, until the bottom of the tooth, which is very suitable for large thread cutting, but the programming is more complicated.
3. The oblique feed method refers to the feed in the Z direction and the X direction are also linked to form a slanted feed method. At this time, the thread turning tool always has only one cutting edge to participate in cutting, and the chip removal is smooth. It is smaller than the straight-forward method, but when the thread depth is deep and the pitch is large, it is easy to produce the phenomenon of trowel.
4. Straight forward method refers to the linear movement of the Z direction does not change when the lathe is cutting, and the X direction feeds a cutting depth in a convenient, fast and efficient manner. Usually, ordinary threads with smaller pitches can be used, but the turning tool is easy. Worn, chips can scratch the thread surface.
